The intent of the typical
Direct Mail flyer is to maximize number of responses. This
technique merely presents the
"Problem" facing the Senior upon their passing. It only mentions the small
Social Security benefit and a Final Expense
"Program" that is being offered to solve this problem. Little or no
other detail is provided.
The Shared Mail flyer
(also used for Newspaper Inserts and the "Best of Both Worlds" lead
programs) is on high
quality paper presented in graphical format that presents sample
premiums and a full explanation of what
Final Expense insurance provides. The added information using this
technique results in a more informed (better
qualified) prospect and, although results in a lower response rate
than the Direct Mail approach, yields a much higher
close rate. |
